Woman Killed, 6 Injured After Pickup Truck Runs Red Light
M. Scott Bucci—November 29, 2016

Early last Friday, an accident in Loudoun County, Virginia, involving a pickup truck and a Toyota sedan killed one woman and injured five passengers, including two children, ages 3 and 5. The driver of the pickup truck was injured as well, though she did not sustain any life-threatening injuries. The 3-year-old was ejected from the car.
The driver of the pickup truck ran a red light while driving northbound on the Loudoun County Parkway, causing the fatal accident. She was charged with failing to obey a traffic light. However, with the accident still under investigation, police have not yet stated whether or not alcohol or speed contributed to this incident.
